Naraaz Nuqoosh

Meray mehboob
Meri simt na dekh
Meri aankhon ko bhi nam rehnay de
Tark-e-khaahish ka bharam rehnay de
Phir pighal jaaye na seenay mein yeh dil
Kitni muddat mein bhulaaya hai machalna is ko
Kitni mushkil se sikhaaya hai keh jeenay ke liye
Yoo.n mohabbat se dharaknay ka hunar
Raayegaani ke siva kuch bhi nahin
Ik tamaasha hain vo saaray manzar
Jin ke chehron per hon taqdeer ke naraaz nuqoosh
Ab to tu khud se mukarnay de mujh ko
Meray mehboob nahin... aur nahin
Jism ko raakh na ker rooh ko shola na bana
Yoo.n meri simt na dekh

@ Abid: Trust me, after a loooooooooong deadly winter, you get so sick of snow that ANYTHING looks mighty awesome in comparison. So the background is here to stay. Muhuhahaha!
Honestly, it's flippin' middle of March and there's still snow outside.
I'm glad you liked the poem.
I'm getting lazy because I'm not putting up the meanings or because I'm posting almost once a week?

@ Rida: Yeh meray bhaijaan ka pasandeeda tareen expression hai: "Cha gayee ho, baadal ki tarah". Taareef ka shukriya. Noshi gilani rocks. I wish I could find more of her authentic poems online. Log apnay paas se hera pheri kar ke poems post kartay hain. It's so frustrating.

@ Ambreen: Lazy for not posting meanings & interpretations .... :-)

It's not laziness that's stopping me. I can't seem to change the colors and font sizes that I usually use when providing meanings and interpretations. Without these, the post just looks crowded and very unreadable, something I can't stand. But if there's something that someone would ask about a word or a line, I'd be more than glad to explain.

You can have the snow man. Have it all and keep it. We have another snowfall forecast for Wednesday. *heavy sighs*

Try Changing your settings , i guess you're still using the old editor to publish posts ..

Go to design> settings > Basic > scroll down to the end , there you'll see "Global Settings (Applies to all of your blogs.)" change the selected tab to "Updated Editor" ..

If u have already done it & still can't change font & colors than you should sue Google Blogs :D

Doesn't allow me to use different colours and/or sizes within the same post.

It's the new editor I'm using. I miss the old one - it allowed me to do as I wished!
