Aankhon ka rang baat ka lehja badal gaya
Vo shakhs aik shaam mein kitna badal gaya
Koi bhi cheez apni jagah per nahin rahi
Jaatay he aik shakhs ke kiya kiya badal gaya
Hairat se saaray lafz usay dekhtay rahay
Baaton mein apni baat ko kesa badal gaya
Kehnay ko aik sehen mein deewaar he bani
Ghar ki fiza makaan ka naqsha badal gaya
Shayed wafa ke khel se ukta gaya tha vo
Manzil ke paas aa ke jo rasta badal gaya
Aankhon mein jitnay ashk thay jugnu se ban gaye
Vo muskuraaya aur miri duniya badal gaya

Welcome back! Haven't heard from you in a long while. I hope all is well.
Actually, for the first time, I also had the entire poem :) My husband surprised me with 'majmooaas' from my two favorite poets, Amjad Islam Amjad and Faiz Ahmed Faiz. For this post, I only posted a few ash'aar from this poem.
Thanks for completing the poem here though. Hopefully another enthusiast will read it in its entirety and would be appreciative of the contribution.
